How can I make a reservation?

A credit card is required for all rentals (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX). All reservations are made per category and not by specific car type. My Kimolos Car reserves the right to offer an upgrade if required.

What kind of insurance is included in the price?

The vehicles are insured with third party insurance for material damages (excl: 1: driver and passengers and 2: vehicle of My Kimolos Car). The above stand under the condition, that there was no violation of the Traffic Regulation. No insurance covers damages on the tires, wheels, windshields, windows, damages on the under part and the inside of the vehicle and thief of personal belongings. If you need any extra insurance you can refer to the file: Terms and Conditions.

Can a second driver be added?

Yes, the only requirements are that any additional driver must fulfill the terms and conditions of hire and that they must be declared before the hire period begins so as to be covered by the insurance.

Baby seat(s)

Children seats of all ages are available upon request, free of charge.

Is there a minimum age for the driver who rents the car?

The minimum age is 21.

Extension of the rental period

The extension of the rental period depends on the availability. For your best service, it is highly recommended to proceed to all relevant arrangements the soonest possible.

Can I pick-up and drop-off the car anywhere in Kimolos?

Yes, pick-up and drop-off can take place anywhere in Kimolos at no extra charge. Prior arrangement required at least one day in advance.

Are there particular hours for the pick-up and drop-off of the car?

Pick-up and drop-off of vehicles is possible between 07:00 and 23:00. The drop-off time must be specified upon pick-up.

How do I get the car eventually?

If you are collecting the vehicle anywhere on the island apart from our offices, one of our associates will be waiting for you at the meeting point for signing the contract. Please make sure you have your driving license, your credit card and your passport or ID with you.

When I pick-up the car will there be fuel in it?

Yes. Your only obligation is to ensure that when you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as given. If the car is dropped off with less fuel, the difference shall be charged. Refunds cannot be given on unused fuel. No refund will be given for returning the car with more fuel than when it was picked up.

Does your company policy allow me to transport the hired car to another island?/h3>

No you cannot transport the hired car to another island except Milos Island. You should be aware of the fact that during sea transport, the company does not cover you for damage or loss of the vehicle and in case of accident or breakdown in Milos, road assistance will be delayed there.

What do I have to do in case of an accident?

In case of accident the renter should inform the company and the police and provide us with a copy of the police report. If the renter is responsible for the accident, the renter is extra charged with 15 Euros for Accident Management service.

What do I have to do in case of a mechanical problem?

In the unfortunate event of a breakdown you should call us immediately and one of our associates will be with you. Our company offers 24/7 roadside assistance.

If there is a delay in drop-off of the car what will happen?

If you need to extend the rental period please contact us the soonest possible so that we can check availability. If you do not give us early notice, extra charges will apply. For delays of more than 5 hours, an additional cost will incur equivalent to the daily rental rate.

What happens if I get a police ticket?

If you receive a ticket for any misconduct you have to pay the fee either to the competent authority, or to us and me shall proceed to the payment settlement.

How is the car supposed to be when I bring it back?

When you return the vehicle to the station it should be in excellent condition on the outside of (not scratches, dents etc.), and inside (no rips in seats, carpets and spill of fluids to destroy them). Of course we consider the damage to the vehicle and not dust issues, mud, dirt. etc.

Which places of Kimolos can I visit?

Upon pick-up, a map of Kimolos shall be offered to you where all accessible locations are indicated.

How can I ensure the state of the car when I pick it up?

During the pick-up procedure, the vehicle is checked by you as well as by our associate. A special document shall be completed with all details about the existing damages or scratches accompanied by photo material.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
